Participants will learn how the USask, College of Dentistry evolved from a single intraoral scanner to a comprehensive digital learning environment that rivals a full-service dental laboratory. The session will inspire dentists and dental assistants to explore opportunities for greater self-sufficiency through digital workflows while enhancing collaboration, communication, and understanding between dental practices and dental laboratories.

About Rick (Ulrich) Kroener

Rick began his career in the dental field in Essen, Germany in 1982 where he became a certified Dental Technologist in 1986. He moved to Canada in 1990 and became a certified Dental Technologist in 1992. Rick has been working in all departments of dental technology, from removable and fixed restorations, precision attachments and implants, orthodontics and partial facial prosthesis to digital designing and fabrication of all types of dental restorations.
