About Dr. Trudy Nwachukwu, BDS, MDPH, MFD RCSI, MRCPS(Glasg), Dip(PDS), MDent(Perio), FRCD(C)

Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Certified Specialist in Periodontics

Dr. Trudy Nwachukwu is a certified periodontist. She is currently the President of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology. She received her dental degree in 2004. After practicing as a general dentist for many years, she went on to periodontics specialty training, graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2016. She has her practice at #302 Midtown Towers, Saskatoon, providing periodontics/dental implant services to patients. 

She is a published author in the fields of peri-implant disease and gingival recession management. She has partnered with the Canadian Dental Association to provide multiple educative webinars for dentists, and has served as an invited speaker at various oral health meetings/conferences. She also regularly provides continuing education events for the Saskatchewan dental community, and is passionate about periodontal and peri-implant health.
